Salvador. But El Salvador became independant on June 12, 1824. Yes, El Salvador only lasted 3 years being conquired by
the Spanish. In the early 16th century, The Spanish empire conquired many parts of central America including El Salvador
, incorporating it into the Viceroyalty of New Spain ruled from Mexico City, but three years later the country achieved
independence from Spain as part of the First Mexican Empire and then as you know El Salvador was claimed it's self independent
on June 12, 1824

The 1986 San Salvador earthquake occurred on October 10 with a moment magnitude of 5.7 and a maximum Mercalli
intensity of IX which is a violent earthquake. This earthquake caused too much damage to the capital of El Salvador, San Salvador
and also nieghboring countries like Honduras and Guatemala. The earthquake also caused landslides located in the San Salvador area.
Tropical Depression Nine (2001)
This Hurricane cause a lot of damage to Nicaragua and El Salvador. This Hurricane formed on September 19, 2001 and
dissipated on September 20, 2001. The remnants emerged into the Pacific Ocean and later formed into Hurricane Juliette with
winds on land of no more than 30 mph. This Hurricane flooded mostly all El Salvador, from Ahuachapan to La Union.
Famous Salvadoran Rulers
The first ruler of El Salvador was Juan José Guzmán. There is not that much informatio of Juan José Guzmán but we
do know that was the first president of the Repulic of El Salvador, and that he was born on July 1797,in La Union, Philippines,
and that he died on October 19, 1847, in San Vicente Department, El Salvador. Lastly we know that he was president from

has done what no other president did and that is put in all the effort and strength of the desipline, which not all
Salvadorans like. Nayib Bukele was born on July 22, 1981. Nayib Bukele became president on June 1, 2019, and since
he has changed El Salvador completely in a good way. Nayib Bukele has captured most of the Mareros (gangsters) of El
Salvador and he has mantained the peace for all Salvadorans. Nayib Bukele was previously elected mayor of Nuevo Cuscatlán on

Lago de Coatepeque
The Lago de Coatepeque is a large crater lake that is located at the east part of the Coatepeque Caldera.
And to be more precise it is located in Coatepeque municipality, Santa Ana, El Salvador. There're also hot springs near
the lake margins so you can feel more relaxed. Lago de Coatepeque is one of the largest Lakes of El Salvador t 26 square
kilometres (10 sq mi) large. In the lake is the island of Teopan, which was a Mayan site of some importance.
Santa Ana Volcano
The Santa Ana Volcano or Ilamatepec, as how you like to call it, is a large stratovolcano located in the
Santa Ana department of El Salvador. The Santa Ana Volcano has the hieght of 2,381 metres (7,812 ft) above sea level.

Joya de Ceren is an archaeological site in La Libertad Department, El Salvador. The ancient Maya site of
Joya de Cerén is located in the Zapotitán Valley 36 kilometers northwest of San Salvador, El Salvador. This site is mostly
known for the excellent preservation of a Classic period settlement that was buried under the ashfall of an eruption of
the Loma Caldera around 600 A.D. The relative abundance of paleoethnobotanical remains are similar to other ancient Maya
archaeological sites.

El Tazumal is a pre-Columbian Maya archeological site that is located in Chalchuapa, El Salvador.
Tazumal is an architectural complex within the larger area of the ancient Mesoamerican city of Chalchuapa in
western part of El Salvador. The Tazumal group is located in the southern part of the Chalchuapa archaeological
area. El Tazumal was inhabited from the Classic period through to the Postclassic period. Metal artifacts from the
complex date to the 8th century AD had been found at the archeological site and these metal are among of one of the
earliest metal artifacts reported from Mesoamerica.

of Cristobal colon or also known as Christopher Columbus. But this money was changed to US dollars because of
Francisco Flores. This man negociated
with the USA to change the Colon for US dollars, and he did it and all Salvadorans were confused and angery because
know they had to put differnt prices to their product and they didn't know how to use US dollars because they weren't
the same as the Colon. After Francisco Flores left his Presidency he was immediately arrested and charge for corruption.
So, if you were asking yourself if you can use US dollar in El Salvador yes you can use them. But there is a problem,
you can only use the 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 dollar bill, and the 1, 5, 10, and 25 cent coin because Salvadoran don't
know any other US bills or coins.
